Gut Busting…

- Okay, this guy may seem to be a little squeemish, but I think it’s a cute way to learn too… Gnagno is a new plush pet, which you can open up to play with his little plush insides too. He got the majors… intestines, liver, lungs, brain, and heart… which is played alot into an interesting concept here. This is the type of toy you help children learn a little with, but they have something they can hug and sleep with, and all sorts of stuff… I dunno, I really am growing attached to this idea… Check it out!!

Monkey Junkie!

- A good friend of mine and fellow Mojizu member Duzty looks to be making himself a little more noticeable these days. While some of his work has been popping up in various places, he has modified the shirt design that he won over Mojizu and is taking to the people. His preorder looks to wrap up around the end of this month, but you all still have time to get in on this amazing looking shirt!! Here a quick snip from the page…
- Do you have a passion for monkeys? Does it borderline into an obsession? Well if your love is questionably funny, then you need to have the Monkey Junkie T-Shirt!! With Monkey Junkie, you’ll never have to explain your passion again, we say it for you!! You will now have the ability to find others who share in you craving of monkeys also. And finally, each Monkey Junkie comes with your own monkey… No more long, lingering goodbyes at the zoo!

- I have already grabbed my shirt… What are you waiting for?? Dont’ think… must buy!!

Power to the Little People…

Thursday, April 12th, 2007

- Recently, the 11th annual Webby Awards nominees have posted, giving nods to the many spectrums of sites running today. One of the catagories have come to my attention today… Community. Out of the five selected, there seems to be one who does not have deep pockets, like their competition. COLOURlovers remains true form in the world of art… with its own unique twist. This community shares the outlook on the way color is used in today’s world… the way it affects and defines us. Basically, you have a passion for color, this is the place to relate to other visually keen aritsts, developers, and professionals.

- What I would find more interesting, is the little company standing in line with nominess like Flickr, Threadless, Delicious, and Yahoo should not only earn the respect of its nomination, but should also slide away with the win. Why? Simple… “This isn’t ‘I Win, They Lose.‘ All of them have already won. They’re milions of dollars. They’ve made it.” stated Darius Monsef, founder of the site. And in all honesty, the additional relief projects (Hands On Worldwide) co-created by Monsef only proves that COLOURlovers has the stuff of dreams and heart in the right place.

- So the best I can say is to go and support the tiny idea that is making resounding waves online. It is time that the truest form of loving what you do should be acknowledged for knowing how to do it.

Love & Hate…

- It seems to look like Hellobard has been up to all kinds of work lately… First, he pops up at PopCling, with some sweet wall designs. Then, the Stupid Tank vinyl has come into the spotlight. Now where else can he start to take over?? How about his own shoe line? From his site, it seems that the few mention here are just a tip of the iceberg. I think he’s on his way to rule the world of design. Makes me torn… It is great to see some nice style and design from fellow artists… but why can’t it just happen to me as well?? WHY?!?

- Hopefully… We continue to see more of what Hellobard’s world is like in the future…

HELLO?? Is anyone out there?

confused blogger
Hi Everyone,
I’ve been running this blog for about a year now and I’m starting to get the feeling that it’s not hitting home with any of our readers. I don’t even know if we have any readers that come back regularly. Basically I’m writing to see if you guys are finding the info that we put up even interesting.
We don’t see any comments that are worth posting-most of them are SPLOGS! We search everday to find insparational sites, products and services, but i’m starting to feel like it’s really not appreciated.
I would really appreciate some feedback here!
1. Do you guys like what we offer here?
2. Do you find yourself wanting to come back for more?
3. What can we do differently to get you to come back?
4. What are your interests?
5. How did you find us?
At this point any feedback would be great feedback. Let us know if you think we suck! Or if you think we Rock!
Thanks for your time,
Ali Sabet

Emotional Colors…

Friday, March 16th, 2007

- About a year ago, I ran across a flash site, and I just simply loved it. Colors in Motion, a color-enhanced flash site, opens up a new look at the colors of life. While for me, most of the information within I have known very well as an artist, something about this place stuck with me. I happened across it in a post over at Federator Blogs, and it came back again. I think I know what’s the deal.

- While the site gives simple but stunning messages, it also has value. A site like this can help develop the young minds of our kids or students with understanding more than just the color. It helps develop ideas behind the meaning of different colors in America, as well as other countries and cultures. Children could begin to bridge gaps between colorful meanings in everyday life, while beginning artists can develop the skills to express themselves with the right use of color in drawings and designs. If you think this could just be for kids, your wrong. As I watched it… it was warm and uplifting. There was many meanings I did know, and some came as a new piece of information.

- Colors in Motion is cute, expressive, and entertaining. Give it a go, bookmark it, and visit it every once and a while. It’s seems to be forever inviting…

Super Paper Goodness!!

Tuesday, March 13th, 2007

- Ya know, the first installment of Paper Mario is still a great concept in my eyes… So how do you think they could improve the next one? Well, they just added more old school kick to it. With a combination of 2D scrolling and some awesome 3D perspectives, this just may be RPG gold!! Don’t believe me? Check out the video footage and get an idea of what’s coming soon to my Wii!!

Powered by God!!

http://duzty.com/pictures/bible.gif- It was only a matter of time before technology would enhance the religious into “one stop shops” for biblical knowledge. The Solar Powered Talking Bible has every piece of text forgotten from the days of being altar boys, right at your fingertips. Flip through any chapter or verse. I’ll just say this… Once I saw this product, I have been wondering when they will begin to use the catchphrase, “Powered by God”?? A bible that’s solar powered?!? You know they’ll use it… Also, I wonder if Heston has supllied the voice??
